Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

Anand Associates is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to take full responsibility for overseeing and directing construction projects from mobilization to final completion. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of the project, ensuring seamless coordination among multidisciplinary teams and timely achievement of milestones while maintaining quality, safety, and budget compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the top authority responsible for the overall management and performance of construction projects on-site, leading diverse teams including construction, planning, billing, contracts, procurement, quality, safety, MEP, stores, and administration.
• Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and construction methodologies; monitor and ensure adherence to timelines and critical path activities.
• Direct the supervision and control of onsite construction, ensuring conformity with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and standards; optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
• Demonstrate practical civil engineering expertise, reviewing architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans; coordinate technical clarifications; oversee thorough inspections and approvals of key construction phases.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance and control systems to assure compliance with project specifications and minimize defects, rework, and wastage.
• Manage project budgets, monitor cost control measures, collaborate with commercial teams on billing and contracts, and pursue cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality or safety.
• Oversee contract administration, manage client, consultant, and governmental relationships, and ensure all contractual obligations and deliverables are met within stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate procurement and resource planning to guarantee timely availability of materials, manpower, and equipment, preventing delays due to shortages.
• Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards onsite, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Utilize advanced construction management software tools including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems for planning, tracking, reporting, and document management.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and management information systems (MIS), monitoring KPIs related to time, cost, quality, safety, and productivity; present project status updates and early risk warnings to senior leadership.
• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, providing mentorship and establishing a culture centered on accountability, discipline, safety, quality, and excellence.

Educational and Professional Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution is required.
• A Master’s degree in Construction Management or Project Management is considered advantageous.
• Possession of project management certifications such as PMP, Primavera, or BIM credentials constitutes a preferred qualification.
