Role Overview

This position involves driving data-focused initiatives within commercial projects serving pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The role demands leadership in fostering creativity and innovation across projects, steering teams, and guiding internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver superior client deliverables.
• Partner with leadership to establish project scopes, methodologies, and development strategies.
• Participate actively in building Beghou’s internal data warehouse infrastructure.
• Apply knowledge of data platform components, including data warehouses and monitoring systems, alongside data engineering practices like ETL and schema design, adhering to CI/CD standards.
• Analyze datasets, synthesize insights, and present actionable conclusions clearly to both internal teams and external clients.
• Manage projects, communicate with clients, facilitate meetings, and oversee timelines, acting as a primary contact with limited supervision.
• Develop and refine data processing workflows, incorporating coding solutions to streamline data handling and reporting operations.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse, global teams ensuring cohesive project delivery.
• Support internal initiatives aimed at promoting organizational growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher coupled with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciences contexts.
• Familiarity with one or more UI-driven ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Alteryx, Informatica, SnapLogic, Boomi, or Prophecy is preferred.
• Experience with relational database systems, including Databricks, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel capabilities.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SAS, VBA, and experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau and Power BI highly desirable.
• Exposure to Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities enabling resolution of complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective organizational, time management, and project leadership abilities, with experience balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adept at collaborating, adapting quickly, and thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of best practices in data analytics tailored for the pharmaceutical sector.

Compensation

The annual salary range falls between $90,000 and $110,000, reflecting various factors including skill level, experience, certifications, and other organizational considerations. Most hires are not placed at the top end of this range initially.
