About The Role

In the position of Data Analyst at The Battle of Giants, you will be central in examining and interpreting data focused on various companies' growth efforts. Your analytical outcomes will be used to benchmark businesses against industry standards, identify strategic opportunities, and grasp factors influencing future development. This role requires a combination of analytical precision and the ability to narrate insightful stories based on data. You will conduct in-depth research, perform data cleaning, and create engaging narratives from your findings. Working alongside data engineers, developers, and other analysts, you will transform raw data into impactful insights. Your responsibilities will include exploring data transformation methods, improving feature engineering for machine learning models, and designing visual reports that clearly convey complex information. A proactive, critical thinking approach along with readiness to challenge assumptions is essential to identify root causes and develop actionable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related disciplines
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with data querying tools
• Skilled in Python or R for manipulating and analyzing data
• Competent in data visualization platforms such as Tableau or equivalents
• Knowledgeable about corporate strategy, economics, and business performance metrics
• Excellent communication skills, capable of creating compelling data-driven stories
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and a naturally curious mindset
• Experience with machine learning concepts and feature engineering considered an advantage
