Job Overview

This role is centered on designing, testing, and maintaining software applications or operating systems to be deployed at client sites, ensuring complete adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehend product and software design requirements thoroughly.
Craft software solutions by analyzing data usage, information needs, system flow, and workflows.
Investigate software issues through the development lifecycle for resolution.
Conduct root cause analysis of system challenges to identify problem sources.
Propose improvements to enhance system performance and availability.
Interpret client requirements into viable design frameworks.
Collaborate with functional teams and systems analysts for detailed requirement analysis.
Engage with project managers to understand software capabilities.
Execute software coding ensuring optimal module development.
Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problems, requirements, and software development plans.
Design and automate software validation processes by creating and executing test scenarios.
Modify software to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, or boost performance.
Assess new system installation needs or modifications to existing systems.
Ensure error-free, bug-free coding and successful test executions.
Maintain comprehensive reports on programming specifications, activities, and progress.
Adhere to project norms for code submission with clear descriptions and replication guidelines.
Compile accurate and timely documentation and status reports.
Coordinate daily project updates and progress documentation with the team.
Provide feedback on software usability and serviceability; link results to quality risks and inform stakeholders.
Report project status and maintain customer focus throughout execution phases.
Gather and clarify requirements with clients to enhance quality output.
Obtain regular feedback to secure smooth and timely deliverables.
Engage in continuous learning and training to remain up-to-date with programming best practices and skills.
Consult engineering teams to design software-hardware interfaces and performance requirements.
Create detailed documentation, including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear coding practices.
Document essential information thoroughly from project proposal to implementation.
Maintain professional communication and customer interactions via email, fault tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
Respond promptly to customer requests, avoiding any internal or external complaints.

Performance Measures

Deliver error-free continuous software integration, deployment, and monitoring according to schedules and release plans.
Ensure on-time delivery, effective software management, troubleshooting, excellent customer experience, and completion of required certifications.
Generate timely and accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in Oracle Apps Technical development is essential.
