DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically adept DevOps / Cloud Engineer to architect, automate, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and efficient software delivery pipelines. This role centers around cloud platform management, infrastructure automation, CI/CD implementation, system reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Key Duties

• Architect, implement, and sustain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.
• Develop, operate, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to foster streamlined software deployment.
• Automate infrastructure setup via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications alongside orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Oversee system performance, application uptime, and utilization of cloud resources.
• Analyze and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application issues by conducting root cause analysis.
• Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability to bolster system reliability.
• Work collaboratively with developers, QA, and IT teams to optimize development and deployment workflows.
• Manage cloud networking, storage, identity/access management, and security configurations.
• Support disaster recovery plans, backup methods, and business continuity efforts.
• Maximize cloud cost efficiency, resource usage, and operational productivity.
• Ensure compliance of infrastructure with security protocols, governance frameworks, and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed technical documents, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Research and integrate new cloud technologies, automation tools, and DevOps best practices.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system scalability, performance, and operational quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps principles, cloud architectures, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools and automation concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and software delivery processes.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration solutions (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and associated administrative tasks.
• Networking fundamentals expertise including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Competence in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools and practices.
• Awareness of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
