Role Overview
The Drafter is responsible for creating precise technical drawings, plans, and blueprints that convert engineers' and architects' concepts into detailed, buildable documentation. This position ensures that project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project standards, codes, and company drafting protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, plans, and blueprints utilizing AutoCAD and, where required, Revit or similar software tools.
- Convert designs from engineers and architects into detailed and executable documentation.
- Update and maintain drawings in alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes and internal drafting standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in drafting, ideally within modular construction, prefabrication, steel structure fabrication, or general construction sectors.
- Proficient user of AutoCAD.
- Deep understanding of engineering drawing standards, including dimensioning and recognized symbols.
- Good proficiency in English, especially technical reading and writing.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and structural or architectural plans accurately.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the modular construction industry is highly valued.
