Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor Shift In Charge to oversee electrical maintenance operations at our steel manufacturing plant located in Abu Dhabi. This role demands a hands-on leader proficient in managing electrical systems to ensure continuous plant functionality.
Key Duties
- Oversee and manage all electrical maintenance tasks during the allocated shift.
- Lead and supervise a team of electrical technicians to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
- Respond promptly to electrical failures and execute both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain and monitor electrical infrastructure including motors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), MCCs (Motor Control Centers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), transformers, and control panels.
- Collaborate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to reduce operational downtime.
- Strictly enforce adherence to safety protocols, permit-to-work procedures, and company policies.
- Document shift activities meticulously by preparing reports and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a diploma in related electrical or engineering fields.
- Between 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Fluent in English language communication.
- Experienced in managing electrical components and systems common in steel manufacturing or comparable industries.
