Finance Manager - Accounts Payable

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager specializing in Accounts Payable to join Baladna Food Industries at their locations in Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Qatar. This role involves overseeing the entire Accounts Payable function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of Accounts Payable including invoice handling, payment processing, and closing activities at month-end.
• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team to drive high performance and operational excellence.
• Establish and nurture vendor partnerships, addressing and resolving payment disputes efficiently.
• Guarantee adherence to corporate financial policies, tax laws, and audit standards.
• Promote continual improvement by implementing ERP enhancements and automating AP processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
• Bring a minimum of six years of professional experience, with at least four years devoted to Accounts Payable or financial operations.
• Prior experience within the GCC region is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage or equivalent systems is required.
• Experience working in FMCG sectors, handling international supplier transactions, imports, and tax-related matters is advantageous.
