About the Role

Robert Half is collaborating with a prominent privately-owned financial services and investment management firm to find an experienced Financial Writer. This role centers on ghostwriting high-impact thought leadership content about investing, financial markets, and economic trends. The selected writer will craft persuasive articles, opinion pieces, and educational materials reflecting the voice of senior leaders and subject matter experts. A demonstrated ability to condense intricate financial information into accessible, engaging messages is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling thought leadership articles on financial, economic, and industry subjects.
• Maintain a steady output of quality content ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct thorough research and distill complex data from multiple internal and external resources.
• Customize communications for diverse readerships and international markets.
• Keep abreast of industry news, market developments, and media coverage to spot timely content ideas.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and experts to develop insightful educational materials.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in ghostwriting.
• Strong background in opinion editorial style writing.
• Excellent research and editorial capabilities.
• Ability to simplify and clarify complex financial topics.
• Experience writing specifically within the financial sector.

Additional Information

• Position is based in the Greater Portland Area.
• Initial 90 days fully onsite, transitioning to a hybrid work model.
• Relocation assistance is available.
• Standard workweek: Monday through Friday, 45 hours per week.
• Competitive compensation ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually plus bonus.
