Role Overview and Responsibilities

This role demands the development and implementation of SAP UI5 applications with a thorough understanding of Fiori design principles. The developer will work extensively with SAP Gateway, OData services, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Business Suite, applying MVC architecture within SAP UI5 projects.

Required Expertise and Skills

• More than 5 years of SAP UI5 development experience with sharp skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Fiori design standards and guidelines.
• Proficiency managing and utilizing SAP Gateway and OData services for backend communication.
• Experience with SAP Web IDE, SAP Fiori Elements, and Business Application Studio.
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services integration.
• Version control knowledge, particularly with Git.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree favored).
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience specifically in SAP UI5 and Fiori development.
• Understanding of ABAP is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of SAP CAP and RAP programming models.
• Experience or exposure to Node.js, JSON, Angular, or React frameworks is a plus.
• A grasp of UX design fundamentals and Design Thinking methodology.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, finance, or logistics with relevant SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI) is advantageous.

Location and Work Environment

This position is based in Indian locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Coimbatore, requiring on-site presence.
