Key responsibilities

• Track marketplace behavior to flag suspicious activity and reduce fraudulent transactions.
• Review data to surface fraud patterns, new risk signals, and likely attack techniques.
• Handle escalated fraud investigations and suggest suitable actions based on the level of risk.
• Work with product, data, and engineering teams to strengthen detection and prevention workflows.
• Build and maintain dashboards, monitoring reports, and alerting tools for ongoing fraud oversight.
• Help define and improve fraud-prevention policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Spot weak points in the system and recommend changes that increase trust and platform security.

Requirements

• Prior exposure to fraud prevention, risk operations, trust and safety, fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace settings.
• Strong ability to analyze information, recognize patterns, and turn findings into practical actions.
• Experience with fraud-monitoring tools, anomaly detection approaches, or rule-based risk systems.
• A careful, detail-focused approach with a proactive mindset toward identifying threats early.
• Comfort working with product, data, and engineering stakeholders across functions.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Good English proficiency is required; strong proficiency is preferred, since the working language is international.
