Graphic Designer

Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and designing print graphics tailored for trade shows and specialized events. Work hours will vary depending on the current workload.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow established design guidelines and layouts with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring content is thoroughly proofread when working independently.
• Apply quality control standards to guarantee that all designs comply with the company's graphic and structural specifications.
• Collaborate closely with team members to align designs with client expectations and project requirements.
• Show proficiency in oversized print production methods to maintain design fidelity, precise color representation, and superior image quality.
• Prepare files compatible for print production, handling multiple formats such as Vector, PDF, and Raster files suitable for digital printers.
• Maintain consistency in visual quality, including color accuracy and high-resolution imagery in all completed designs.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related area; substantial equivalent experience may substitute formal education.
• Proven professional experience in graphic design roles is required.
• Proficiency in 2D design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and WebEx for communication and collaboration.
• Experience working within a Windows-based design environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in team environments.
• Effective under pressure, capable of managing challenging situations, and working independently to meet deadlines.
• Availability to work nights and weekends if required.
• Receptive to feedback with a positive attitude toward revising designs based on customer input.
• Commitment to a collaborative, can-do approach focused on project success.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $24 to $29. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and participation in a 401(k) plan.
