Role Description

Karnex Software Solutions is seeking a skilled HMI Developer with 3-7 years of experience in Android Application Development using Java directed towards Automotive Infotainment Systems. The candidate must demonstrate strong Java and Kotlin programming skills and be well-versed with Android components and development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Android applications primarily for automotive infotainment platforms using Java.
• Utilize proficiency in Android components to build robust, scalable applications.
• Apply expertise in Java and Kotlin languages, with Kotlin being mandatory.
• Debug and resolve issues using Android support tools such as logcat and ADB.
• Implement object-oriented programming concepts effectively.
• Use software design patterns including MVP, MVVM, and Observer as part of application architecture.
• Understand and navigate the Android framework efficiently.
• Integrate and manage third-party libraries, APIs, and Android SDK components.
• Work with Android Studio IDE for application development.
• Contribute to quality assurance by using jUnit and automating tests where relevant.
• Have familiarity with build automation tools like gradle and android make files (beneficial but not mandatory).
• Demonstrate experience with AOSP build system and code review tools such as Gerrit.
• Participate in Agile software development processes.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any engineering specialization.
