Position Overview
The HR Generalist Analyst plays a crucial part in supporting the Human Resources department along with operational managers by managing daily HR operations and ensuring HR initiatives are successfully implemented within the company. This role requires offering advice and support on HR policies, practices, and workplace matters to maintain a compliant and positive work atmosphere. Serving as a key resource for conflict resolution, promoting employee relations, and safeguarding confidentiality are core responsibilities. The role also involves supporting HR projects like performance evaluations, onboarding, and leave management, thereby contributing to the HR strategy and overall organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Address employee relations challenges by guiding leadership to guarantee equity and consistent policy enforcement
- Support the administration and tracking of employee recognition programs to enhance engagement and morale
- Collaborate with HR Managers to collect and supply data for thorough and compliant investigations
- Oversee all leave of absence cases, ensuring proper administration, case tracking, and compliance with legal and company policies
- Monitor HR activity dashboards daily to improve operational efficiency and meet service agreements
- Contribute to HR initiatives and projects, including auditing and keeping the SharePoint site updated
- Lead coordination of the yearly performance review cycle for front-line associates alongside management teams
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to enable smooth employee integration
- Liaise with external agencies managing workers' compensation, FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave programs
Qualifications
- Fluent bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English, both verbal and written
- Minimum one and a half years experience in employee relations or related human resources areas
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal communication featuring tact and diplomacy
- Capability to influence and educate others regarding policies and procedures
- Skilled in synthesizing information obtained from diverse sources
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance matters
- Discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive and confidential details
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with case management software is a plus
