Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to contribute to maintaining the five-star kitchen standards at this prestigious luxury hotel. This role requires teamwork and enthusiasm for building a career within a world-class French luxury hotel brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, cutlery, glassware, and heavy kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, and trays.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces.
• Operate commercial dishwashers safely, adhering to proper use of cleaning chemicals and kitchen safety protocols.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying rubbish bins regularly, sorting recyclables, and keeping the waste area tidy.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as peeling vegetables, when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or café setting is preferred, especially for those eager to learn and maintain high standards.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles, along with a Food Handler certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment, including standing for long durations and lifting heavy items.
• Dependable and punctual, with availability to work on rotating shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
