Role Overview

As a Learning & Development Partner, you will serve as the central resource for learning, growth, and capacity advancement throughout the organization. Collaborating closely with leadership and various teams, you will identify necessary skills and knowledge to enable optimal performance and then design and implement impactful learning programs. This role is hands-on and influential within a dynamic, rapidly expanding fully remote technology startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, launch, and manage comprehensive employee learning initiatives that support professional growth at all levels, including onboarding and leadership development.
• Perform continual learning needs analyses by partnering with team leaders to identify skill gaps and prioritize development efforts.
• Build and sustain a scalable learning infrastructure, such as a learning management system (LMS), alongside a formal onboarding process.
• Produce engaging educational content across various formats including e-learning modules, workshops, toolkits, and self-guided materials.
• Assist feedback processes by creating support materials and coaching teams on communication and managerial enablement.
• Monitor, analyze, and report learning program effectiveness, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 6 years experience in Learning & Development, preferably within a fast-scaling startup or technology environment.
• University degree in a relevant discipline, such as organizational psychology.
• Certified Business Coach or Mediator credentials.
• Proven success conceptualizing and delivering impactful learning programs independently.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating with leaders across organizational levels.
• Data-oriented approach utilizing metrics to assess and enhance learning interventions.
• Fluency in English and German at C1 level or higher.
• Proficient working in fully remote teams, fostering engagement and community.
• Ability to bring clarity and order to ambiguous scenarios and prioritize multiple urgent tasks effectively.
• Applied expertise in IFRS standards from previous roles, adept at managing complex international financial reporting requirements.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a regulated or compliance-focused field, such as government contracting.
• Knowledge of instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise).
• Experience establishing or administering an LMS from inception.
• Exposure to multinational organizational structures across countries or legal entities.
