What the role involves

• Carrying out general repair jobs that are assigned and completing them within the required timeframe
• Reporting to management when larger repairs or upgrades are needed for lighting, heating, or ventilation systems
• Assisting with repairs to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment
• Supporting preventative maintenance activity when properly trained and directed
• Maintaining accurate reports and records for work completed
• Ensuring that buildings and equipment remain safe and that repairs follow manufacturer guidance
• Following company safety and security procedures while working efficiently
• Taking part in a rotating on-call arrangement
• Working in line with the organisation’s mission, vision, and values
