Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor the facilities team to cultivate a workplace environment focused on safety, outstanding service, and operational excellence while encouraging professional growth.
• Lead strategic planning, oversee daily operations, and coordinate maintenance activities for facilities on the West Coast ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory mandates.
• Manage facility operations expenses, balancing service quality, efficiency, and financial objectives.
• Implement corporate facilities strategies aligned with broader business and leadership goals.
• Provide senior leadership with regular reports related to operational outcomes, risk management, and strategic opportunities.
• Supervise space planning and workplace initiatives to accommodate organizational expansion and evolving business demands, enhancing employee experiences.
• Develop and maintain workplace solutions including office layouts, furniture systems, storage solutions, fleet assets, and operational infrastructure improvements.
• Oversee capital projects such as improvements, renovations, tenant upgrades, and new construction from initiation through completion.
• Collaborate with Environmental teams and other stakeholders to guarantee environmental compliance and support sustainability efforts.
• Administer operating and capital budgets, manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and facility asset management programs.
• Lead and develop facilities personnel by promoting accountability and high performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years of advanced experience in facilities management or a related discipline.
• Proven background managing operations across multiple sites or units.
• Experienced leadership involving coaching, supervising, and developing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong aptitude in time management, planning, and handling several priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge in facility maintenance, workplace operations, and renovation or construction project oversight.
• Familiarity with facility safety, environmental compliance, and workplace regulatory standards.
• Capability to handle budgets, monitor costs, and support financial planning efforts.
• Exceptional relationship management skills with vendors, landlords, and internal business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tenant improvement projects, workplace modernization, and space planning.
• Expertise in managing corporate facilities operating and capital budgets.
• Understanding of furniture systems, workplace technology rollouts, and occupancy planning.
• Collaboration experience with Environmental, Safety, and Strategic Sourcing teams.
• Knowledge of sustainability programs and environmental compliances.
• Familiarity with large corporate, entertainment, or creative industry operations.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.

Salary within California ranges from $105,100 to $140,900 annually, with actual compensation influenced by internal parity and the candidate's expertise, location, and skills. Bonus and long-term incentive units may also be parts of the package, along with other medical and financial benefits depending on the level and position.
