Role Purpose and Work Schedule

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production and warehouse machinery across multiple trades with periodic supervision. Using maintenance and reliability methodologies, you will execute preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to optimize facility asset performance.

Your work shifts will follow this schedule:

• Week 1: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM; Friday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Week 2: Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Friday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Apply maintenance and reliability principles with some guidance to ensure assets are kept in safe and effective working condition, extending the equipment lifespan.
• Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance tasks throughout the facility with limited oversight.
• Use competence in one or two standard maintenance tool types, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, precision tools, and preventive maintenance technologies.
• Possess practical experience in one or two maintenance specialties such as electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing upkeep, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical repairs, or hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform modifications with some supervision by interpreting electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.
• Record completed maintenance work and conditions utilizing maintenance management software and regularly communicate with peers and supervisors to encourage continuous operational improvements.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts in compliance with production documentation to deliver materials to designated locations.
• Execute other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Offer
