Role Overview

We are searching for a Mobile UI Designer to craft elegant, user-friendly, and high-performing mobile interfaces for BJAK's AI Neobank and financial applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing intuitive mobile experiences optimized for iOS and Android platforms, collaborating closely with engineers and product managers to reach millions of active users.

Key Responsibilities

Design visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for iOS and Android mobile apps.
Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and final UI components ready for production.
Create mobile designs across domains such as insurance, payments, claims, investments, and financial services.
Build and maintain comprehensive mobile design systems and reusable components.
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation down to pixel perfection.
Optimize interfaces for usability, accessibility, and adherence to platform standards.
Iterate designs driven by analytics, user feedback, and usability assessments.
Ensure design consistency across varying devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 2 years professional experience designing mobile applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing exemplary mobile UI design projects.
Expertise in Figma and interactive prototyping tools.
In-depth knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design principles.
Solid grasp of mobile usability concepts, responsive design, and interaction principles.
Keen eye for typography, spacing, color usage, and establishing visual hierarchy.
Ability to distill complex financial processes into straightforward mobile user experiences.
Portfolio submission is mandatory.

Additional Details

Location: This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must be currently residing in Ireland as the role targets the Irish market.

Language: English is the primary work language across our global teams; therefore, strong English communication skills are required.

Final interview with the CEO.
