Network & Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

We seek an experienced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and maintain our network environment across headquarters and various store locations. The engineer will be accountable for ensuring dependable LAN/WAN connectivity, secure VPN systems, video surveillance setups, and physical access controls while optimizing network uptime, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure at headquarters and retail sites.
• Handle routing, switching, VLAN configurations, firewall rules, and monitor network performance to maximize availability.
• Implement and support site-to-site and remote VPN connectivity between multiple locations.
• Identify and resolve network issues while maintaining secure encrypted communications.
• Install and maintain IP CCTV cameras, network video recorders, and remote surveillance platforms.
• Administer physical access control devices, including door controllers and user permission groups.
• Use network monitoring tools to track health and performance of the infrastructure.
• Keep comprehensive network documentation including schematics, IP management, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with IT support, security, facilities teams, and external vendors to execute infrastructure projects supporting business needs.
• Ensure adherence to IT security policies and infrastructure best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in network engineering across multiple sites.
• Required CCNA certification.
• In-depth understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and firewall management.
• Proficient with VPN technologies including IPSec and SSL VPN.
• Experience with IP surveillance systems such as Hikvision, Dahua, or Axis and NVR management.
• Familiarity with physical access control systems like HID Global or Suprema.
• Competency in using network monitoring software like PRTG or Zabbix.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communicator, capable of working collaboratively across locations and teams.
• Flexibility to travel onsite as necessary.
