Infinitesima is a privately held company, established in 2001 as a spin-out from the University of Bristol. Our team of scientists and engineers is dedicated to advancing semiconductor metrology with pioneering Atomic Force Microscopy technology. Our solutions support major semiconductor manufacturers worldwide in overcoming complex measurement challenges.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Operations Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical, customer-specific operational projects. This vital role sits at the interface between customer commitments and the company's operational execution layers, ensuring timely and bespoke delivery without compromising program schedules.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of customized customer requirements including upgrade pathways, qualification efforts, feature developments, and third-party integration dependencies.
- Develop and uphold clear visibility of operational dependencies spanning supply chain, manufacturing, shipping, installation, and customer acceptance stages.
- Proactively detect potential risks and establish mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions in delivery timelines.
- Coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives covering teams across the UK, US, and Asia.
- Manage short-term operations projects, especially within contexts where standard processes are not fully formulated.
- Create structural repeatability and consistency in a dynamic, fast-paced delivery environment.
- Provide senior leadership with transparent, data-supported updates on project progress, risk profiles, forecasts, and resource needs.
- Implement scalable project management frameworks to underpin continued operational growth.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in steering complex technical projects or programs.
- Experience in sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, capital equipment, scientific instrumentation, high-tech engineering, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Solid comprehension of dependencies involving manufacturing, supply chain, production, delivery, and installation.
- Proficient in managing non-standard, customer-specific project demands and delivery challenges.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across diverse functions and geographic locations.
- Strong capabilities in operational planning, forecasting, and risk management.
- Comfortable working in fast-scaling organizations with evolving processes.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Background in semiconductor metrology and equipment.
- Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) and technology transfer or outsourced manufacturing.
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and data standardization techniques, including AI-driven operational planning.
- Professional project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.

Compensation
The salary ranges from £45,000 to £50,000, complemented by private health coverage and EMI share option schemes.
