Project/Program Manager I

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Project/Program Manager to oversee cross-functional product development projects focusing on innovative consumer technology products. The role involves collaboration with Engineering teams, Technical Program Managers, and business stakeholders to manage project phases from initiation through launch. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless product integration, testing, and deployment under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and synchronize project tasks across Engineering, TPMs, and diverse business units.
• Create and uphold comprehensive project plans, timelines, key deliverables spanning the full product lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, foresee schedule risks and dependencies, and proactively resolve obstacles.
• Assist with integration processes, guide internal testing phases including Alpha and Beta programs, and prepare for production launches.
• Organize regular project meetings, document outcomes, and ensure timely stakeholder follow-ups.
• Generate detailed project status updates and executive summaries emphasizing progress and risk management.
• Oversee several concurrent projects, aligning priorities with business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance communication, transparency, and operational efficiency.
• Identify and escalate project barriers when necessary to facilitate prompt decision-making.
• Continuously refine project management practices and operational workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in roles such as Project Coordination, Program Coordination, or Project Management.
• Experience supporting cross-functional product teams.
• Strong knowledge of product development lifecycles, milestones, and dependencies.
• Proficiency in crafting and monitoring project schedules via Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Familiarity with collaboration and project tracking platforms like SharePoint.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Adept at balancing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
• Effective problem-solving skills, with a focus on proactive risk identification and escalation.
• Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and ownership.

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract (W2)
• Location: Sunnyvale, California (Onsite)
• Contract Length: 12 months
• Hourly Pay: Between $61 and $64
