About the Role
The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to drive forward a portfolio of primary care cancer improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cancer outcomes for residents across North Central London. The post is embedded within the North Central London Cancer Alliance (NCLCA), a partnership comprising NHS organizations and collaborators, hosted by UCLH. This Alliance focuses on promoting early cancer diagnosis, optimizing patient care pathways, reducing inconsistencies in care, providing patient-centered support, and strengthening service resilience.
This role offers the chance to be part of transformative changes within cancer services, working collaboratively with Programme Leads, clinical leaders, and partners in the NHS, Integrated Care Board, and primary care networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive planning, implementation, and evaluation of cancer improvement projects across primary care settings within North Central London.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, primary care networks, Integrated Care Board representatives, and partner organizations.
- Oversee multiple facets of project management including timelines, risk assessment, milestones, budget control, and reporting mechanisms to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing cancer screening, fostering early diagnosis, advancing learning and development, and leveraging data analytics in primary care.
- Encourage collaborative multidisciplinary engagement and drive continuous service improvements that bridge organizational boundaries.
- Produce articulate and comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation tailored for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices that minimize care variation and improve patient results.
