Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned System Administrator to oversee, support, and enhance enterprise infrastructure across Linux, Windows Server, and container-based platforms. The specialist will ensure optimal system availability and performance, manage clusters, and resolve issues impacting critical business operations. This position is well-suited for an adept systems professional with hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to maintaining secure, stable, and scalable environments.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and sustain Linux and Windows Server systems.
Manage and provide support for Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
Oversee cluster management and uphold high-availability setups.
Deploy and monitor containerized infrastructure and applications.
Track system health, capacity, availability, and performance metrics.
Conduct system installations, upgrades, patching, and regular maintenance tasks.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, operating systems, clusters, and application platforms.
Perform root cause analyses and apply corrective and preventive measures.
Administer system access controls, permissions, configurations, and security standards.
Support backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
Collaborate effectively with application teams, network engineers, database administrators, infrastructure, and cybersecurity personnel.
Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, operational guidelines, and system health records.
Advocate and implement improvements to boost infrastructure reliability, scalability, and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related IT discipline.
Up to 5 years of pertinent experience in systems administration or infrastructure operations.
Proven hands-on expertise managing Linux and Windows Server environments.
Practical knowledge and experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
Competence in managing clusters, maintaining high availability, and handling containerized applications.
Strong skill set in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support functions.
Applicants must be nationals of Saudi Arabia.
