Systems Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking to hire a Systems Analyst who will assess business requirements, analyze current systems, and suggest technology solutions to enhance business processes and operational efficiency. This role requires close cooperation with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of effective system solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, examine, and document business and system requirements comprehensively.
• Review existing systems and advise on improvements or enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with business users, development teams, and quality assurance personnel to implement system solutions.
• Create functional specifications, process diagrams, and other system documentation.
• Oversee user acceptance testing and verify system functionality.
• Detect system issues, perform troubleshooting, and propose corrective measures.
• Support system rollout, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all solutions are consistent with business objectives and comply with relevant standards.
• Contribute to project planning, change management, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Deliver end-user support and training as necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in system analysis and business process mapping.
• Experienced in gathering and documenting requirements.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with SQL and working knowledge of relational databases.
• Knowledge of software testing frameworks and user acceptance testing processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other documentation tools.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Two to five years’ experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or related roles.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration software like Jira and Confluence.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile certifications are beneficial.
