Role Overview

The Technical Quality Engineer is tasked with supporting technical assistance, warranty processes, and overseeing product quality throughout the dealer network. This role collaborates closely with dealers and corporate headquarters to resolve technical challenges, enhance service standards, and ensure adherence to Geely's after-sales policies. Additionally, the role assists in delivering technical training to dealers and facilitating new vehicle model launches to prepare service readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical support to dealers for handling complex repairs and diagnostics.
  • Facilitate the enforcement of Geely's technical protocols, repair guidelines, and service notifications.
  • Escalate unresolved technical matters to the Regional Service Center and monitor resolution progress.
  • Track technical cases and support initiatives to enhance dealers' technical capabilities.
  • Assist in the implementation of warranty policies and processes across the network.
  • Help dealers manage warranty claims and resolve warranty-related concerns.
  • Oversee warranty performance metrics and pinpoint areas requiring improvement.
  • Participate in warranty audits and follow through on corrective measures.
  • Support provision of technical and warranty-related training for aftersales personnel.
  • Act as the technical liaison during new model launches, supporting service documentation, preparation of specialized tools, dealer technical readiness, and providing on-site technical assistance.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience in automotive technical support, warranty management, quality assurance or related aftersales functions.
  • Preferred experience within original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), importers (NSC), or authorized dealer networks in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and warranty claim processes.
  • High Voltage (HV) certification is advantageous.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English languages.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as part of job responsibilities.
