Job Overview
This role involves operating cash registers to facilitate customer transactions accurately and efficiently in a retail banking environment. The Teller will handle payments, refund processes, and support product promotion while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining clean, organized workspaces.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions using cash registers, including cash and credit payments.
- Scan merchandise and verify correct pricing for all items.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets as required to customers.
- Accept and process stamps and coupons transactions.
- Promote and cross-sell new banking products to customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and provide helpful guidance.
- Warmly welcome customers upon entry and departure from the store.
- Keep the checkout zones tidy and organized at all times.
- Maintain accurate transaction records on balance sheets and promptly report inconsistencies.
- Package purchases by bagging, boxing, or gift-wrapping as appropriate.
