About Moove AV

Moove AV plays a pivotal role in enabling autonomous transportation by managing advanced, high-tech autonomous vehicle (AV) depots. The company partners with leading AV pioneers, ensuring operational excellence focused on precision, uptime, and uncompromised safety.

Role Overview

This role is central to Moove’s global validation operations, responsible for the ownership and establishment of a consistent, rigorous training program for autonomous vehicle validation drivers and supervisory staff worldwide. The aim is to embed safety and quality as foundational habits from training inception, not merely rules enforced later. As a foundational position, the Training Program Lead will architect a scalable, evolving program rather than isolated classes, collaborating with management and clients to align training with business objectives and adapt to new market launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the quality and consistency of training programs, with KPIs centered on certification validity, audit outcomes, and performance across markets.
  • Continuously develop and refine curriculum, assessment methods, and certification standards to promote feedback-driven improvements.
  • Ensure that safe driving behavior is non-negotiable, maintaining strict safety standards regardless of operational pressures.
  • Conduct audits of local training initiatives, partnering with Safety and Operations to identify risks and gaps for systemic curriculum enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding curriculum for new in-market managers and supervisors covering essential operational systems and KPIs.
  • Empower local teams to tailor training content to market-specific nuances while systematically integrating learnings into the global standard.
  • Deliver Train-the-Trainer certification and personally certify inaugural teams in new markets to maintain hands-on connection to training realities.
  • Plan and manage training capacity, schedules, and milestones across all markets, ensuring seamless coordination with local execution.
  • Align training plans with cross-functional units including Safety, Workforce Planning, and Fleet Operations to reflect actual safety needs, hiring timelines, and fleet deployment.
  • Identify and address potential delays or resource gaps, providing strategic escalation and support to maintain launch schedules.
  • Establish standardized templates and reporting tools for certification tracking, maintaining transparent and actionable visibility for leadership.
  • Define global standards for training infrastructure including facilities, courses, vehicle equipment, and related hardware.
  • Manage infrastructure readiness pipelines and support local teams with procurement and supplier partnerships to meet operational deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required; program management certifications (PMI-PgMP, PMP, CPTM) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in autonomous vehicle operations or training, with a proven record of building or scaling training programs.
  • Strong programmatic and systems thinking ability to map dependencies, foresee risks, and run cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • Expertise in AV validation operations, including driver training, coaching, validation protocols, and disengagement procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize safety consistently, making safety-first decisions under operational pressure.
  • Experience designing and delivering driver training curriculum, including live instruction during market launches and Train-the-Trainer sessions.
  • Acumen for auditing program delivery and trainer efficacy beyond individual driver performance.
  • Passion for continuous improvement with a proactive approach to enhancing quality and efficiency.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%, domestically and internationally, for training delivery, audits, and program management.

Team Interaction

This role reports directly to the Head of Validation Operations and collaborates closely with the Central Training & Development Team and cross-functional leaders in Safety, Fleet Operations, and Market Launch initiatives.
