About the Internship
Join Diwaansaab, a distinguished men's fashion retail label specializing in shirts, blazers, Indo-Western ensembles, kurtas, and sherwanis for both domestic and international clientele. As a Business Development Sales intern, you will collaborate directly with our team to accelerate business expansion and strengthen market presence. Your role will leverage your expertise in business development, client handling, and market research alongside strong communication and MS-Excel proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to spot prospective customers and emerging business opportunities.
- Drive sales and customer acquisition by reaching out to wholesale buyers, resellers, event organizers, and gift service providers through calls, WhatsApp, social media, exhibitions, and trade events.
- Manage CRM platforms to efficiently contact, negotiate, and close deals ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Foster enduring relations with key accounts to support repeat business and manage client queries, follow-ups, and payment reminders via various communication channels.
- Produce detailed sales performance reports and analyze data using MS-Excel.
- Work cohesively with cross-functional and offline management teams to facilitate business initiatives.
- Participate in sales presentations and meetings to effectively showcase products.
- Assist with diverse administrative sales support activities to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship based in Kolkata.
- Ready to commence the internship between July 23, 2026, and August 27, 2026.
- Committed to a four-month internship duration.
- Possess relevant skills and a strong interest in business development and sales.
Additional Requirements
- Prior experience in business development or client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and diligent follow-up capabilities.
- Basic proficiency in Excel, CRM software, and product listing knowledge.
- Proactive, well-organized, and target-driven mindset.
Stipend and Benefits
A monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹12,001 will be provided. Additional perks include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, and a casual dress code policy.
