About Devasya Welfare Foundation
Devasya Welfare Foundation, India’s youth-focused NGO established in 2021 by Vijay Chauhan and Vidhi Baria, is registered as a Section 8 company under Indian law and holds an 80G certificate which facilitates tax-exempt donations. The foundation aims to foster a happier and healthier society by empowering underprivileged children and communities. Key initiatives include promoting menstrual hygiene awareness through Project Rohini, organizing birthday celebrations for underprivileged children, conducting free medical camps, educational drives, skill development workshops, and food distribution. Presently, the organization operates in Vadodara, Surat, and Ahmedabad, with a growing presence offering online volunteering across India and plans to expand to additional cities.
Internship Role and Responsibilities
- Organize and execute social awareness campaigns in the intern’s local city.
- Engage with government schools or orphanages by visiting them and participating in social activities.
- Plan and coordinate activities at old age homes.
- Contribute actively to ongoing projects of the foundation and gain practical experience (further instructions will be shared within a designated communication group).
- Adhere strictly to the organization’s guidelines and protocols.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be able to work remotely from home.
- Availability to commence between July 22, 2026, and August 26, 2026.
- Commitment to a minimum of two weeks’ duration.
- Relevant skills and a keen interest in the field.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 2000 to INR 3000, comprising a fixed portion of INR 1500-2000 and incentives of INR 500-1000.
- Certification upon successful completion.
- Letter of recommendation offered.
- Flexible working hours.
- Work schedule limited to five days per week.
