Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project budgets while monitoring actual expenses.
- Oversee expenditure related to materials, subcontractors, and labor for various projects.
- Identify discrepancies in costs and suggest measures to reduce expenses.
- Assess profitability for projects and compile reports on margins and profits.
- Accurately price contract variations, change requests, and additional tasks.
- Manage operational company expenses with precise cost allocation.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports to aid strategic decisions and track company performance.
- Perform reconciliation of bank statements, petty cash accounts, and credit card transactions.
- Keep organized and precise financial records.
- Generate monthly and yearly financial reports and contribute to cash flow forecasting.
- Assist in enhancing financial systems, procedures, and cost-tracking methodologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting, preferably within fit-out, construction, or contracting sectors.
- Expertise in QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks, reporting, and financial reconciliations.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Experience with project-based accounting, cost control, and budget tracking is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and excellent organizational skills.
- Capable of working autonomously and meeting deadlines within a fast-moving environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with project managers and external auditors.

- Workdays: 6 days per week
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
