Role Overview
The Accountant will oversee daily accounting duties and ensure accurate financial management. This includes bookkeeping, transaction processing, return filing, reconciliation, and compliance duties.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle routine accounting transactions and operational finance activities.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date financial records and books of accounts.
- Prepare and submit GST and TDS returns timely.
- Conduct regular reconciliations and generate financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Liaise with auditors to facilitate audits and uphold compliance requirements.
- Compile Management Information System (MIS) reports and organize related documentation.
Required Expertise
- Proficiency with Tally ERP or Tally Prime software.
- Strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations.
- Knowledgeable in standard accounting principles and methods.
- Skilled in MS Excel and general MS Office applications.
- Effective communication paired with good analytical capability.
- Professional demeanor marked by confidence and smartness.
Preferred Background
- Holder of B.Com degree with 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
- Familiarity or prior exposure to the real estate sector is considered an advantage.
