Role Overview
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for daily accounting functions to maintain accurate financial records and assist the senior accounting team in safeguarding the company's financial integrity. The position requires handling routine financial transactions, account reconciliations, and supporting reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions following organizational policies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring payments and collections are processed timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies by analyzing account data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and update precise financial reports and necessary documentation.
- Assist in formulating budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and internal company policies.
- Facilitate internal and external audit procedures by supplying required documents and information.
- Conduct visits to branch offices as assigned to audit financial records, cash holdings, inventory, and supporting paperwork.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, along with Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and organizational capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Experience ranging from 0 to 2 years in similar or entry-level accounting roles, including internships.
