Job Overview

We are searching for a full-time architectural designer who will engage in all project phases, from initial concept through construction administration. Responsibilities include contributing to business development and marketing efforts. Our diverse projects range across single-family residential, commercial, nonprofit, and public sectors. Designers are vital team members influencing both design outcomes and the firm's cultural development.

Key Responsibilities

• Create designs using multiple techniques such as sketching, drafting, rendering, and both digital and physical modeling
• Carry out architectural studies and evaluations
• Prepare detailed documentation including drawing sets and specifications
• Organize materials for project meetings
• Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors
• Investigate and assess codes, materials, and building systems
• Assist with construction administration tasks
• Participate in firm growth and development activities

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an architectural firm
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Availability to work onsite four days per week; this is not exclusively remote
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Revit and Enscape considered advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to design and document projects through all phases including construction documentation and administration
