Role Overview - Assistant Publicist (Fixed-Term Contract - Six Months)
This position encompasses a variety of tasks centered on publicity and media management for entertainment projects, specifically related to the TV show "The Traitors" and other productions managed by Plank PR.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee management of the cast of "The Traitors" starting from the first series, including handling press inquiries, merchandising offers, and event requests.
- Collaborate closely with the "The Traitors" team during transmission periods.
- Participate in regional and national media opportunities either in-person or virtually, facilitating briefs for media personnel and cast members involved.
- Assemble and distribute media coverage reports to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Provide supplementary press assistance on other ongoing projects within the agency.
- Monitor weekly media coverage by reviewing TV listings magazines, national print previews, and all media exposure secured by the Entertainment and Factual Entertainment teams at Plank PR.
- Generate detailed coverage reports for programs under the Entertainment and Factual Entertainment teams.
- Transcribe interviews and prepare press kits associated with the respective teams' productions.
- Note: Responsibilities described represent the core expectations, with potential adjustments subject to mutual agreement over time.
Working Conditions
The position requires a hybrid working model based out of the West London office, with flexibility to attend production meetings, broadcast interviews, filming sessions, or events as necessary.
Additional Information
- Reports to the Head of Factual Entertainment and the Publicity Manager.
