Job Overview
The Associate Project Manager - Engineering position involves comprehensive management responsibilities encompassing the entire lifecycle of medium-sized projects, normally those with total installed costs under $100 million, or specific segments within larger projects. This role requires planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling activities in strict accordance with established company policies, procedures, systems, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent maintains direct daily interaction and communication with clients, prioritizing client satisfaction throughout the project duration. They supervise project personnel via subordinate leaders, ensuring effective team management. Additionally, the role may include responsibility as a proposal manager for medium-scale projects. Budgetary responsibilities are an inherent part of this job function.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold an undergraduate degree in Engineering and possess significant professional experience, ideally ranging from 10 to 20 years within the relevant industry sector, with an average background around 15-20 years.
