Your Role and Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and nurture their loyalty through friendly and attentive service.
• Maintain consistent brand quality by preparing drinks using established recipes and techniques, even during busy periods.
• Inform customers about new product launches and current promotions.
• Carry out store opening and closing responsibilities as assigned.
• Ensure the outlet remains clean, well-organized, and complies with GoodNews standards.
• Manage stock levels by restocking products aligned with brand guidelines and conducting inventory counts along with recording deliveries.
• Possess detailed knowledge of coffee varieties, ingredients, and allergens to ensure safety and quality offerings.
• Represent the GoodNews brand at external events, activations, or collaborative opportunities.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and cooperative team atmosphere.
• Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and food safety regulations at all times.

Work Conditions & Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is required; barista experience is advantageous.
• Availability to work according to café needs: full-time (35 hours/week across 4-5 days including two peak days - Wednesday to Friday), or part-time (21-28 hours/week across 3 days including weekends).
• Legal authorization to work in the UK is mandatory.
