About the Role
DesignBuild Search is recruiting a Bid Coordinator to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor's Estimating Department, located in Kildare. The company undertakes diverse projects spanning Commercial, Fitout, Data Centre, Industrial, and Pharmaceutical sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze tender documents and ensure compliance with tendering regulations.
- Perform Bid/No Bid evaluations for potential contract submissions.
- Interpret Requests for Tender, establish deadlines, and assign bid-related responsibilities.
- Gather relevant data from multiple departments for inclusion in prequalification and tender documents.
- Offer technical assistance during preparation of prequalification and tender submissions.
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant submission of bids to current or potential clients.
- Manage tender processes in a punctual manner.
- Work closely with Business Development, Estimating, and Operations teams.
- Create tender schedules using programming software, highlighting major milestones and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project methodologies and technical proposals.
- Present technical information to clients and partners effectively.
- Participate in tender interviews and conduct site visits.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering disciplines.
- Prior experience in Bid Coordination roles.
- Proficient in programming, technical writing, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Expertise in Microsoft Project and Asta Power Project software is essential.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 is advantageous.
- Understanding of BCAR, Building Regulations, and other industry standards and procedures.
