Job Overview

This role focuses on administering and managing the HCL BigFix system and its associated modules to support enterprise IT infrastructure management.

• BigFix Platform
• BigFix Patch Management
• BigFix Lifecycle (Software Distribution)
• BigFix Inventory (BFI)
• BigFix Compliance (Security Configuration Assessment - SCA)
• BigFix Insights for Vulnerability Remediation (IVR) and Plugin Management

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Provide hands-on administration and support of HCL BigFix systems.
• Manage patch deployment, compliance monitoring, software distribution, and inventory tracking.
• Work with BigFix Distributed System Architecture (DSA), Web User Interface (WebUI), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Cloud Plugins.
• Create custom content using Action Script and Relevance Language tailored to organizational needs.
• Apply knowledge of vulnerability remediation and security compliance frameworks within the BigFix environment.
• Leverage scripting skills in PowerShell and Shell Scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Perform troubleshooting, generate reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
