Branch Head

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Head to lead the operations of our client's growing courier and logistics branch in Guwahati, Assam. This position entails managing branch activities, driving sales growth, and expanding the client base within both B2B and B2C logistics sectors in the Northeast Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Expand market presence by targeting businesses across retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and distribution industries.
• Acquire and retain clients by understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored courier solutions.
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and implementation.
• Manage sales activities in Guwahati and neighboring areas, including cold calls, lead generation, and on-site visits.
• Draft, present, and negotiate customized pricing proposals and contracts with prospective clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor moves, pricing models, and market shifts to inform sales strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of sales efforts, pipelines, and customer interactions using CRM systems or Excel.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the courier or logistics industry.
• Deep understanding of courier services, freight rates, and delivery workflows.
• Excellent abilities in communication, negotiation, and presentations.
• Good knowledge of the Northeast Region’s geography.
• Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to work well within a team environment.
