Overview
This position requires a Business Analyst with expertise in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain and strong IT business analysis capabilities. The candidate will play a pivotal role in defining project scopes, articulating user stories, working within project management frameworks, and leading multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance processes and concepts.
- Extensive experience in IT business analysis and detailed IT project documentation.
- Ability to define project scope and articulate clear user stories.
- Strong understanding and experience working within project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, including writing queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
- Experience in Agile environments and quality assurance including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Additional familiarity with XML and JSON formats is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Power BI dashboard creation is beneficial but not mandatory.

- In-depth understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Preferred experience in insurance, specifically P&C.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities at the program/project level.
