About the Role

Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand is seeking a Business Partnership Consultant to join the team based in Auckland, with possible office locations in Takapuna or Christchurch. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a designated group of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) across the nation.
• Establish and maintain professionally positive relationships with advisers through consistent communication.
• Encourage adviser engagement by facilitating regular phone communications and hosting webinars.
• Drive quality business outcomes aligned with customer needs through strong adviser support.
• Achieve targets related to production, retention, lapse rates, and quality by recruiting, developing, and managing adviser accounts.
• Participate in case discussions, position products effectively, and identify growth opportunities.
• Promote adviser development through sharing product knowledge and practical advice.
• Contribute to marketing campaigns and initiatives that activate adviser involvement.
• Ensure CRM and sales pipeline data is kept accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and adviser experiences.
• Uphold excellent customer outcomes in each interaction.
• Assist the wider Distribution team with daily tasks and follow-up activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of three years’ experience in life insurance, financial services, customer service, or account support roles.
• A sincere passion for relationship building and helping others achieve success.
• Strong communication skills, particularly comfort in proactive phone outreach.
• Experience presenting information effectively, including hosting webinars.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn continuously.
• Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage workload efficiently.
• Team-oriented mindset with readiness to contribute collaboratively as needed.
• Ability to analyze verbal and numerical data to make sound decisions.
• Qualification advantage: NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 or willingness to pursue this credential.
