Role overview
O.P. Jindal Global University’s Jindal Institute of Leadership Development & Executive Education (JILDEE) is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Sonipat, Haryana. The role focuses on expanding executive education and leadership development business by building strong corporate, government, and institutional partnerships.
What you will do
- Source and convert new opportunities from corporates, public sector undertakings, government bodies, and industry associations for executive education and leadership programs.
- Build trusted relationships with CXOs, HR leaders, L&D teams, and other stakeholders involved in corporate training decisions.
- Work closely with program directors and faculty to design customized leadership development solutions for clients.
- Support revenue growth by promoting both open-enrollment offerings and bespoke executive education programs.
- Study market developments to spot emerging demand and keep offerings aligned with industry requirements.
- Prepare client proposals, presentation decks, and ROI-led solutions that clearly communicate value.
- Monitor business development performance, pipeline progress, and conversion metrics, and share updates with leadership.
Experience and qualifications
A master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is preferred. The ideal candidate should bring 3–5 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, or executive education, especially within an academic or training organization. A history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and forming strategic partnerships is important, along with an understanding of adult learning, corporate L&D needs, and leadership development trends.
Skills needed
This position calls for strong B2B relationship management, a consultative selling approach, effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The candidate should also show initiative, ownership, strategic thinking, and practical problem-solving ability.
