Role Summary
TCS (MEA) is looking for a seasoned Arabic-speaking Business Development Manager to accelerate growth and deepen the company’s presence across government and public sector accounts in Qatar. This position requires experience in selling IT services and solutions, existing relationships within public institutions, and the ability to lead high-value, multi-layered business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement growth plans to expand into public sector accounts.
- Identify new opportunities that align with the company’s offerings, including IT services, digital transformation, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Support revenue growth and deliver assigned sales targets.
- Develop strong working relationships with ministries, government bodies, and public institutions.
- Handle procurement activities, including RFIs, RFPs, and tender participation.
- Represent the organization as a trusted partner for public sector clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through deal closure.
- Build a strong pipeline and provide reliable sales forecasts.
- Lead major deal pursuits, including bid coordination and proposal creation.
- Engage senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers.
- Work with internal teams such as pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and alliances.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to strengthen offerings.
- Track market movements, competitor activity, and public sector developments.
- Spot opportunities linked to digital government and smart city initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in IT sales or business development.
- Strong background in working with public sector or government clients.
- Demonstrated success in closing large and complex IT deals.
- Arabic fluency is required.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: digital transformation, cloud services, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT solutions/system integration.
- Well-established network across government and public sector organizations.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Good understanding of government procurement processes.
- Ability to manage lengthy sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments.
