About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager based in Singapore to drive client acquisition and growth for our innovative wealth management platform. This position requires owning the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing, working directly under the CEO. The role includes identifying and winning over family offices, external asset managers (EAMs), multi-family offices (MFOs), and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) principals globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients such as family offices, EAMs, MFOs, and UHNW principals worldwide, converting initial discussions to product demonstrations, pilot programs, and ultimately long-term partnerships.
- Manage your sales pipeline independently, setting your own pace while reporting directly to the company's CEO.
- Act as a trusted advisor by educating prospects on how our data aggregation solutions address challenges like fragmented reporting, manual reconciliation, and lack of portfolio-level visibility, positioning our platform as indispensable infrastructure for modern wealth management entities.
- Expand our presence in current markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, ASEAN, Middle East, and Europe, as well as open new markets with the support of strong client references and the company's growing global footprint.
- Incorporate AI-driven tools into your workflow for market intelligence, client research, and prospecting, gaining access to cutting-edge technology and contributing feedback to shape future AI-enabled sales solutions.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- At least 3 years' experience in client-facing roles within wealth management, private banking, family offices, EAMs or related financial services, demonstrating a strong understanding of wealth owners' perspectives.
- Established professional network within the wealth ecosystem, including family offices, private banks, EAMs, trustees, or wealth advisors.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin languages.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, take ownership, and proactively close deals.
Desirable:
- Experience in selling SaaS, fintech, or technology solutions targeted at financial institutions.
- Knowledge of portfolio reporting, data aggregation, or the complexities related to multi-custodian setups.
- Existing relationships with family offices or EAMs across various regions such as Asia, Middle East, and Europe.
- Strong curiosity about artificial intelligence and enthusiasm for adopting new digital tools, no deep technical expertise required.
- Previous experience in startups or working within small, fast-paced teams.
