Role Overview

The Business Operations Manager acts as the critical driver of cross-departmental execution, collaborating closely with Product, Growth, Technology, Marketing, and Data teams. This role involves setting milestones, eliminating operational delays, monitoring progress rigorously, and ensuring that the organization works swiftly and cohesively without fragmentation. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments, takes full responsibility for project outcomes, and guarantees that each interdisciplinary team has the resources needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the entire lifecycle of programs and projects by closely monitoring ongoing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timely milestone achievement and resolving any operational inefficiencies or project slippages.
• Act as the linchpin for project coordination, regularly conducting sprint and status reviews with game development teams, user acquisition managers, data scientists, and developers, while addressing blockers and holding teams accountable.
• Standardize communication and workflows during critical project handoffs by enforcing strict compliance with established entry and exit criteria across teams.
• Guide execution with a strong focus on return on investment (ROI), including analyzing project pace against primary business metrics such as LTV, CPI, expenditure, in-app purchases, and profit margins to prioritize impactful initiatives.
• Create concise, data-driven status and issue reports for senior management and board members by distilling complex project data, timelines, and roadmaps.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a broad, agile operator mentality, understanding how multiple segments of the mobile entertainment value chain integrate and translating strategy into swift action.
• Demonstrates resilience and a solutions-oriented approach, managing by business outcomes rather than mere task completion, with strong personal accountability for time and delivery.
• Communicates transparently and assertively, able to engage cross-functionally to identify updates, uncover bottlenecks, and highlight risks to senior leadership respectfully and directly.
• Exhibits outstanding skills in project and pipeline management, leveraging Jira, spreadsheets, and visualization tools to convert ideas into clear, structured milestone plans and schedules.
• Aims for accelerated professional growth, seeking hands-on engagement at the core of business operations within a gaming studio context, managing high-impact commercial programs.

Additional Information

This position is offered as a fixed term contract for one year. The work environment is hybrid with three key office days per week, offering both in-person collaboration and flexible remote work options.
