Care Associate

About the Role

St Luke's ElderCare (SLEC) is seeking a dedicated Care Associate to join their team in Singapore. This role involves closely monitoring the health and well-being of elderly clients, assisting with their rehabilitation and daily activities, and ensuring a clean and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily visual health assessments on clients to monitor their condition and overall welfare.
• Oversee clients as they complete their structured rehabilitation, therapy, and leisure activities.
• Lead or assist with prescribed daily exercises and therapeutic activities alongside the rehabilitation team.
• Provide meal services to clients including preparing and serving tea or coffee; may also assist with feeding clients.
• Support elderly clients in using restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the client environment, performing necessary housekeeping tasks daily.
• Administer medications and regularly monitor vital signs.
• Provide assistance with wound care and post-operative care when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a caring attitude characterized by patience and willingness to serve elderly clients.
• Experience in caregiving roles within hospitals, nursing homes, or private households is preferred but not mandatory.
• Individuals interested in transitioning into a caregiving career are encouraged to apply.
• Possession of a basic caregiving certificate or nursing qualification is required.
