Overview
Join Ryman Healthcare at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village in Christchurch as a caregiver to provide compassionate, high-quality support to our residents. This full-time fixed term role spans from September 17, 2026 to March 12, 2027. You will work Sunday to Friday evenings 4:00pm to 9:00pm, plus Wednesday and Thursday mornings 7:30am to 1:00pm, covering maternity leave.
Role Responsibilities
- Establish meaningful connections with residents and their families.
- Deliver personalized care following tailored care plans with the same attention you would provide to close family members.
- Utilize innovative technology, including the proprietary care application myRyman, to enhance service.
- Collaborate closely with fellow staff to foster a supportive team atmosphere.
Candidate Profile
- Inherent kindness and genuine empathy towards others.
- Strong verbal communication abilities.
- Dependable, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Previous aged care experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must have the legal right to work in New Zealand due to immigration regulations.
