Job Overview

We are seeking casual staff members for cleaning roles, compensated at $16.35 per hour. Employment requires passing a background check due to the sensitive nature of the position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting and disinfecting according to client specifications per site.
• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleaning quality.
• Attend work punctually as scheduled.
• Read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), with training provided.
• Complete all necessary safety training before commencing work.

Physical Demands

• Operate effectively in a fast-paced setting requiring good physical and mental health.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, stand, reach at various heights, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds for several hours per shift.
• Perform repetitive manual cleaning tasks daily.
• Walk extensively across large floor areas.
• Handle and maneuver large machinery competently.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Good interpersonal skills to communicate well with colleagues and clients.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Comfortable with hands-on work and following directions effectively.
• WHMIS certification preferred, training available.
• First aid certification considered an asset.
